People are plotting and planning their goodbyes to unsatisfying jobs, and in some cases flipping fingers at customers, co-workers and managers, dropping F bombs (not recommended) and walking off the job. I'm glad to hear about people taking more of a stand in their professional life which, these days, can often spill over into your personal life with the anxiety and stress that dissatisfaction can cause. Enough people taking this kind of stand, and it looks like the future will be lead by Takers: Those who take back control of their live, both professional and personal, ultimately leading to financial and emotional success.
Wanting to make some career changes? Begin plotting your exit by finding out who the players are in the field or company you want to get in. Study what they've done and how they did it. Cyber stalk them. When I say that, I mean study how they promote themselves and manage their internet profiles. And don't hesitate to contact them to see if they'll agree to an informational interview, so you can gain inside knowledge about the industry, and tips for breaking in.
